            Simon is a former National Manager of Construction and Engineering at Crawford & Company and National Technical Leader at Cerno.

            Specialising in Contract Works claims, Simon has been in the insurance industry for 15 years. Simon's extensive experience and involvement in the field provides unparalleled industry insight, ranging from government to private contractors and consultancy. Simon is a qualified civil engineer who practiced as an engineer in a number of sectors before joining the insurance industry.  

            Simon spent time practicing as a Loss Adjuster, before a six-year period in the broking sector, managing a number of construction accounts for two of the biggest international broking houses. He has also worked as a local government engineer and managed projects for a remedial building contractor in Sydney.

            Simon is a member of ANZIIF (Senior Associate), an AICLA Affiliate, sits on the NSW AICLA Committee and has previously sat on the Construction Subcommittee for the NSW Engineering Discussion Group. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Diploma of Finance Loss Adjusting. Simon’s areas of expertise comprise Contract Works, Construction and Material Damage claims, Public Liability and Completed Operation, and Professional Indemnity claims.

            Simon is passionate about making a difference in the specialist construction field of insurance.
