Paul has spent 35 years in a career dominated by the claims environment. The first 20 years was spent in the Lloyd’s market in London where he gained valuable experience across most classes of business before choosing to specialise in the litigated world of Professional Indemnity, and Liability/Casualty claims.

Since moving to Sydney in 2003, Paul’s experience has been utilised in a variety of management and consultancy roles, and has provided opportunities to act for and against Australian insurers in different capacities. The likes of CGU and Ace provided the platform to implement and develop various claims management strategies and plans, whilst his consultancy focussed on assisting the small broker market in addressing the sometimes unfair coverage repudiations.

Finally, Paul's interest in the general education of the Australian insurance market led him to accept a position on the NSW Claims Discussion Group committee. The organisation hosts monthly seminars covering a variety of claims related issues, presented by the best practitioners from the many service providers employed within the market.
