            George Haros

            Principal Lawyer

            George is a Principal Lawyer in DWF’s national Employment, Safety & Regulatory team and is located in our Melbourne office. In addition to employment law, George also leads a team of lawyers that focus on litigation, general commercial and property related matters.

            George practices in employment, commercial and property law and has a focus on advising corporate clients with respect to a range of matters including: employment and industrial relations; equal opportunity; restraint of trade; bullying and discrimination;  commercial disputes; commercial negotiations and property related matters. 

            George is highly acclaimed in advising and acting in high profile employment and litigation matters for corporate clients, senior executives and elite sportspeople. 

            He offers industry-specific knowledge in a number of areas, including sport, technology, professional services, manufacturing and hospitality.

            George’s management background combined with his practical experience as a lawyer enables him to offer valuable insights to his clients. He has a deep understanding of the issues associated with starting up and operating a business and can provide considered, commercial solutions to clients. Whether they are multinationals, start-ups or established SME's, George provides his clients with tailored advice to assist them in meeting their business objectives. 

            Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, travelling and sport. He is a passionate Carlton Football Club fan and President of the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club.
