            Our Venture Capital / Private Equity team advises a range of clients in relation to venture capital / private equity transactions.

            Our team includes senior legal practitioners who are respected and recognised in the market place for their skills, experience and expertise. They work seamlessly with other practice groups within our firm, including the M&A group, to ensure our clients’ strategic and financial needs are met.

            We work closely with regulators, including ASIC, ASX, FIRB and the Australian Takeovers Panel, to ensure our clients’ transactions run smoothly and are compliant with applicable Australian laws.

            Our venture capital /private equity services include:

            • Providing governing documents and advising on the establishment of private equity and other funds.
            • Negotiating and documenting a range of investment transactions and subsequent divestment transactions (LBOs, MBOs, trade sales, mergers or floats).
            • Structuring Management Equity Plans.
            • FIRB advice and clearances.
            • Undertaking vendor and acquisition legal due diligence.
