Experience

He has 20 years' experience as a dedicated collision investigator with North Yorkshire Police where he investigated around 500 serious or fatal collisions including the Top Gear jet-car crash. He regularly gave evidence as an expert witness.

Tim provides detailed analysis of the environmental, mechanical and human-factors as causes or contributors to the overall circumstances of an accident. His investigations are supported by a combination of education and development combined with practical experience and strong research skills. He adds value to cases through a good network of investigators within the public and private sectors.

Tim has delivered training to the Police and has been a guest lecturer on under and post-graduate schemes. He also has five years' experience as a Roads Policing Senior Investigating Officer training as a private consultant.

He has provided expert advice to the Health and Safety Executive, HM Coroner, Air and Rail Accident Investigation Bureaux and the Military.

Away from the office Tim enjoys riding his two horses and fly-fishing. He is also a Village Silver Bandmaster and is currently initiating free lessons for young players. He attends local Quaker meetings and has project-managed a community garden within the Quaker site.
