Experience

Jonathan has over 15 years of extensive commercial disputes experience, acting for global corporates, family businesses and high net worth individuals on a range of business disputes.

Business disputes are all different. Jonathan's approach is to achieve the clients' objectives as efficiently and effectively as possible with minimal interruption to the business and in a way which allows clients to feel in control of legal spend.

He has significant experience of a vast range of business disputes and has built up 20 years of practice with particular expertise in contract, professional negligence, contentious insolvency, fraud, defamation and boardroom/shareholder disputes. This has involved all aspects of litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, in respect of national and cross-border disputes.

His recent experience includes handling a wide variety of significant post-transaction disputes, managing contentious contract exits and handling a number of difficult shareholder fall outs in family and other businesses.

When not at work, Jonathan keeps fit playing football and attacking his punchbag, though it is his three children who keep him on his toes for most of his spare time.
