Kirsten is honoured to be a serving member of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Committee of the Law Council of Australia, as well as an elected Committee member of the NSW/ACT Division of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA). She is a highly skilled litigator renowned for her commercial and strategic approach to complex and sensitive matters and is an advocate for alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation.
She advises clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, health care, insurance, real estate, automotive, construction, retail, manufacturing, hotel and franchising.
Kirsten has been widely recognised as a leading Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyer appearing in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 2012/13, 2014, 2015, and 2016/17 for Restructuring and Insolvency, the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers Australia for Insolvency and Reorganisation, the Asialaw Leading Lawyers Guide (2017 & 2018) and the AsiaLaw Profiles (2014, 2015 & 2016) for Restructuring & Insolvency.
Kirsten was also trained as a senior prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions Office specialising in money laundering investigations and the recovery of proceeds of crime.
In her down time Kirsten enjoys spending time with her family. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and regularly plays tennis with friends and practices yoga.
